The role of meaningful occupation in recovery and how to support loved ones to explore or engage
Susan Austin (Occupational Therapist) will lead a discussion on how different types of activities can be helpful in recovering from mental ill-health. She will share some highlights from the research on this topic. There will be a chance to talk about any challenges you are having with supporting your loved ones to engage in activities, whether it be leisure, chores, exercise, work or other roles. Susan will talk about how to identify what activities are meaningful or important for someone and how to support engagement.
