Free Webinar Program for Families & Friends

Butterfly provides skills and support to people caring for someone living with body image concerns or an eating disorder so they can help their friend or loved one – while also taking care of themselves.

Caring for a person with an eating disorder can be a long-term and skilled commitment. Yet friends and families often need to provide care with very little training or support. This 6-week webinar-based workshop will help you develop practical skills to support your loved one in their recovery.

Based on the book Skills-Based Caring for a Loved One with an Eating Disorder, Understanding Eating Disorder Recovery will help you:

  • Understand what might be happening for your loved one
  • Understand and adapt your personal caring style
  • Learn about helping to motivate change
  • Develop new communication skills
  • Manage difficult behaviours
  • Connect with others going through a similar experience.
