What is being proposed?

An opportunity has arisen to transfer the important work currently undertaken by Tolosa Street to a new purpose-built site in Bellette Place in Chigwell. This new location opened in February this year and is operated by Richmond Futures.

How will this work?

Under this proposed new model, Richmond Futures staff will be responsible for all day to day support including rehabilitation related activities and assistance with meals as required. They will also work closely with community mental health staff and GP’s to ensure that specialist mental health input or what we call “clinical care” remains available throughout all admissions.  This approach already works well for a large number of individuals at a number of other places operated by Richmond Futures across the state
