MHFFTas is pleased to launch its parallel programs of online and face-to-face peer support, called Safe Spaces.
Safe Spaces are held online fortnightly via Zoom, as well as monthly in Hobart, St Helens, Launceston, and Burnie.
Safe Spaces are an opportunity for the friends and family of someone with a mental illness to share their experiences with others who understand the ups and downs of supporting a loved one affected by mental ill health. We will also host guest speakers and share relevant videos or podcasts from time to time. Our chats are open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Tasmania and supporting a person with mental ill health.
The Online Safe Space runs once a fortnight on Wednesday evenings from 6.30-8pm. Click here for more information and to register.
The Face-to-Face Safe Spaces run monthly in Hobart, St Helens, Launceston, and Burnie. Click here for more information and to register.
