mental health families & friends TASMANIA offers state-wide peer support sessions for families and friends who support a person with mental ill health.
Safe Spaces are held online fortnightly via Zoom, as well as monthly in Hobart, St Helens, Launceston, and Devonport.
Safe Spaces are an opportunity for the friends and family of someone with a mental illness to share their experiences with others who understand the ups and downs of supporting a loved one affected by mental ill health. We will also host guest speakers and share relevant videos or podcasts from time to time. Our chats are open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Tasmania and supporting a person with mental ill health.
The Online Safe Space runs once a fortnight on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm (first fortnight) and Wednesday lunch time from 1:00-2:00pm (second fortnight) – take a look on the registration link for that sessions’s timing! Click here for more information and to register.
