Mental Health Family and Friends – Submission to the 2023-2028 Tasmanian Drug Strategy

MHFFTas welcomes the work that is being done by the Government on the Tasmanian Drug Strategy 2023-2028.
We encourage further transparency in the development of this important strategy and welcome further and continuing involvement, particularly through the implementation planning and delivery. We would like to emphasise the importance of family and friend lived experience involvement in all decision-making discussions, now and in the future. We would also like to emphasise that the adoption of the Triangle of Care model in service provision and within whole-of-government mechanisms in the pursuit of drug prevention and harm minimisation is significant.
