Board recruitment

Mental Health Families and Friends needs two new General Board members! These are volunteer roles.

MHFFTas is a well-established community-owned and managed statewide health promotion service. ?We provide health promotion activities, health information, training and policy advice and we work with government and non-government agencies to provide innovative and cost-effective services.

Our Board provides strategic oversight and makes the big-picture decisions that guide our work. Together, our Board and staff are committed to leading systemic advocacy to ensure families and friends holistic wellbeing is a priority, and supporting families and friends to be recognised, included, and valued at all decision-making tables.

Our current Board’s skills mix means we’re especially interested to hear from people with governance experience and a legal background. But if you don’t have these and are interested please consider applying anyway. 

We also value the lived experience of supporting someone with mental ill health and AOD use, and our Board and staff reflect this.
