Have You Been Impacted By Another Person’s Alcohol and Other Drug Use?

Dear key stakeholders
Mental Health Families and Friends Tasmania are developing a position paper on the inclusion of Family Therapy in all AOD treatment programs within government and community-managed services, and the need for those services to be adequately funded to do so.
They are asking those who have been impacted by alcohol and other drug use (families and friends, and those they support) and service providers to complete the survey that best fits your lived experience, with the aim to understand:
- How drug use has impacted you?
- What would have helped in your recovery?
- What your needs were as a support person?
- Whether you received treatment as a family member?
- The healing journey of the families and friends.
MHFFTas would greatly appreciate your time to complete these confidential, short 5-minute surveys (that best fit your lived experience). If you know anyone who might be interested in completing it, we encourage you to share this with them too. The surveys close 30th September 2023.
If you have lived or living experience of supporting a family member and or friend with their drug use, please complete this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FC3MZKF
If you have lived or living experience of drug use and or receiving treatment, please complete this survey:
