Research is currently being undertaken as part of the requirements of a Doctor of Philosophy at Edith Cowan University on ‘Family involvement in inpatient mental health care: perspectives of the person with lived experience, the family and the nurses’.

The goal of this project is to improve collaboration between people with lived experience, their families and nurses to detect changes in mental state during an admission. This research directly requests the input from a family member/close support person of someone who has had a recent hospital admission for mental health treatment.
