MHFFTas is the Tasmanian lead organisation for families and friends who provide unpaid support to someone who lives with mental ill health and or alcohol and other drug use.

Our overarching purpose is to support families and friends by systemically advocating for their rights and working with the Government and Community Managed Sectors.

MHFFTas has two exciting opportunities for members to join the Board.  We are seeking a person with finance/audit qualifications to fill the position of Treasurer and General Member with skills in any of the following:

Finance/audit | Leadership | An understanding of mental health issues |  | Legal background | Governance as it applies to community sector organisations | Risk Management | Marketing/PR/Communication | Strategic Vision
