Issue 1 of the AOD Reform Agenda Program Control Group has now been released.
Across the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Sector in Tasmania, The Tasmanian Government are working collaboratively to progress work under the AOD Reform Agenda Implementation Plan (the Implementation Plan).
In order to improve their communication and strengthen relationships with stakeholders the Tasmanian Government are providing regular updates about what’s occurring in the AOD Reform space.
The current AOD reform projects include:
- AOD Service Delivery Document Suite for Tasmania
- Supporting Young People – AOD Service and Practice Framework
- Tasmanian AOD Workforce Development Strategy
- Cultural Respect Framework for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health 2016-2026
- Review of AOD Treatment for Tasmanian Prisoners (Continuing Care Project)
- Addressing stigma as a barrier to access and support
- Collaborative Care Project – Mental Health and AOD Collaboration
- Client Participation Framework
- Central Intake and Referral Service (CIRS)
- Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention (PPEI)
- Support primary health care through education and training
- Collaborative Commissioning
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for people experiencing crystal methamphetamine use – Research Project
