AOD Families & Friends Needs and Experiences Analysis Report

Family members and friends are the key educators, advocates, and natural supports for people living with mental ill health and or alcohol and other drug use. We sincerely thank the families and friends who gave up their precious time to share their lived experience with us to enable this important piece of advocacy. We also thank the State Government, Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Directorate for providing the funding to MHFFTas to enable us to engage with, support, and gain a deeper understanding of the needs and experiences of families and friends supporting someone living with AOD use or co-occurring AOD use and mental ill health.
